“Well, the 60’s were fun but now I’m paying for it.”

From: Ant-Man and The Wasp

Genre: Movies

Who said it?: Stan Lee

The story behind the quote: This week’s quote comes from the 2018 superhero heist film, Ant-Man and The Wasp. But, more importantly, it comes from Stan Lee, the man behind most of Marvel’s superhero lineup, and is one of his many cameos

The quote comes near the end of the film. During an intense car chase, Wasp (played by Evangeline Lilly) attempt to shoot her pursuers with her shrinking discs. One of the disc accidentally strikes Stan Lee’s car, shrinking it. Stan Lee, without missing a beat, delivers the quote.

Geek wisdom: Every action has a reaction. Even if you’ve done something way in the past, things do have a way of catching up to the present, one way or another.

Most of my childhood (and adult life) was spent doing a lot of geeky stuff: watching TV, playing video games and going to the movies. To some, it may have been a waste of time. Well, to me, it has made me what I am today... a geeky adult. I actually write for a couple of blogs, namely: geekwisdom.wordpress.com 3rdworldgeeks.com gamemoir.com Please check them out!
